  • Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, officially opened the "MV Ganga Vihar" at NIT Ghat.
  • The biggest ever inbound remittances received in a single year were sent to India during 2021–2022 and totaled USD 89,127 million. The figures for inward remittances for the last four years are as follows: US$ 69,129 million in 2017–18, US$ 76,396 million in 2018–19, US$ 83,195 million in 2019–20.

  • Through a contract worth more than 600 million British pounds sterling, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Phoenix Group, the largest long-term savings and retirement provider in the United Kingdom (UK), have announced an expansion of their cooperation (GBP).

    • ·LeBron James surpasses the record held by the legendary Kareem Abdul Jabbar since 1984 to become the National Basketball Association's (NBA) all-time leading scorer. He pushed his career total to 38,388 points. He has won four NBA titles and competed in 10 NBA finals.
    • Against New Zealand, Shubman Gill hit 126 runs in 63 balls during the third T20I. Gill's performance this game has broken the previous mark for the greatest individual score by an Indian in T20I cricket.

    • India has been ranked first out of 110 countries for its inclusion policies regarding religious minorities, according to Global Minority Report. India is followed at the second, third, fourth, and fifth spots, respectively, by South Korea, Japan, Panama, and the United States.
    • The Sustainable Development Solutions Network publishes an annual report called the World Happiness Index 2023. With a life rating of 7.842, Finland was awarded the world's happiest nation for the fifth consecutive year. With a life evaluation of 3.819, India is now ranked 126th.

    • K.M. Mammen, Chairman and MD of MRF, received the ATMA Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2023 Annual Conclave of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA) in New Delhi.
    • In the Best Immersive Audio Album category of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards (Grammy 2023) for the album Divine Tides, Indian music composer and environmentalist Ricky Kej won his third Grammy.
    • For his excellent contributions to the area of journalism, seasoned journalist Dr. Anne Bhavani Koteswara Prasad, often known as ABK, has been selected for the "Raja Ram Mohan Roy National Award for excellence in Journalism-2020."
