  • Days:
    • On January 30 every year, India commemorates Martyrs' Day, also known as Sarvodaya Day or Shaheed Diwas, to honour all those who gave their lives in service to their country. The day also commemorates the passing of Mahatma Gandhi, often known as "Bapu."
  • Appointments:
    • The Indian Air Force's Vice Chief has been named as Air Marshal Amanpreet Singh (IAF). Air Marshal Sandeep Singh was replaced by him.
