- Bhupender Yadav, the Union Minister for Environment, introduced the "Save Wetlands Campaign" in Goa. It is designed to address wetlands conservation from a "whole of society" perspective.
- In terms of sales of electric vehicles across all market sectors that have benefited from subsidies under the FAME II Scheme, Maharashtra has been at the forefront. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are listed after Maharashtra. 56% of the electric vehicles sold through the programme, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, e-rickshaws, and four-wheelers, come from these five states.
- A road map for establishing green hydrogen centres in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram over the next two years was proposed by the Keralan government. The cost of this programme is Rs 200 crore.
- The Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative (IFFCO) in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is building a nano urea factory and township there. The foundation stone was placed by Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah. This will be the fifth nano urea facility in India.
- An agreement was made between the Australian Government's Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and the Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC) to work on technical issues and 5 Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes are being implemented in India's leather industry to meet Australian training standards.
- In New Delhi, Delhi, the Development Innovation Lab (DIL) of the University of Chicago and the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW), Government of India (GoI), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
- Goa's Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, debuted a Heli-Tourism Service, the nation's first premium helicopter service, in Panaji, Goa, from the Dauji-Ella Helipad (Old Goa).

- Astronomer Scott Sheppard of the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington has found 12 new moons orbiting Jupiter. Jupiter currently has 92 moons. Saturn planet, which now possesses 83 moons, has surpassed Jupiter planet.

- Anurag Singh Thakur, the sports minister, and Manoj Sinha, the LG of J&K, unveiled the mascot, theme song, and jersey for the third Khelo India Winter Games in Jammu & Kashmir. - Young racing talent Sai Sanjay has won the MMSC FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship 2022. The 20-year-old Salem native Sai Sanjay won his first National Championship in the top open-wheel Formula division during his rookie year.
