  • On February 6, 2023, the Karnataka government opened 108 "Namma Clinics" in Bengaluru. CM Basavaraj Bommai opened a clinic in the city's Mahalakshmipura layout, hailing the action as a game-changing milestone for the urban health sector.
  • Telangana's Finance Minister T Harish Rao presented the state budget to the assembly on February 6, 2023, with a budgetary spending of 2 lakh 90 thousand 396 crore rupees.
  • To create a national-scale digital extension platform, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) and Digital Green signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
  • The 9th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (AMER9) was hosted by India on February 7, 2023, as part of India Energy Week 2023, which took place from February 6 to 8 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

  • The first drone traffic management system in India, called "Skye UTM," was introduced by Gurugram, Haryana-based drone solutions company Skye Air Mobility Private Limited (Skye Air).

    • An innovative set of "super" magnets that may be used to test nuclear fusion power plants was unveiled by a UK company as a first in the world. Tokamak Energy of the UK declared that it had constructed a set of brand-new high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets, a first for the world, that would be put together and tested in conditions that would be relevant to fusion power plants.
    • In the first assessment of global minorities by the Centre for Policy Analysis (CPA) in its "Global Minority Report," India ranked first out of 110 countries for its inclusive policies towards religious minorities. The acceptance of religious minorities is strongest in India.
  • Obituary:
    • K.V. Tirumalesh, a renowned Kannada author and recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, went away in Hyderabad, Telangana, at the age of 82. He was born in 1940 in the Kasargod district of Kerala's Karadka village, under the Madras Presidency of British India.
