- Obituary:
- K.V. Tirumalesh, a renowned Kannada author and recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, went away in Hyderabad, Telangana, at the age of 82. He was born in 1940 in the Kasargod district of Kerala's Karadka village, under the Madras Presidency of British India.
