Current Context: The Guru Kripa Yatra is a special train service launched by Indian Railways to cater to the pilgrims of Sikhism who want to visit the famous Sikh shrines across India. The train is operated by IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) under its Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train scheme.
- Railway Ministry said, passengers can Board and De-board at Lucknow, Sitapur, Pilibhit and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. IRCTC will operate this train with a composition of nine Sleeper Class Coaches, one AC-3 and one AC- 2Tier coach. IRCTC is offering the tour package across three categories namely - Standard, Superior and Comfort with total capacity of 678 passengers.
- In sleeper class passengers have to pay around 24 thousand, for 3rd AC - 36 thousand and for 2nd AC passengers have to pay around 48 thousand rupees.
