  • Shailesh Pathak: He is appointed as the new Secretary General of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry). He will be in effect from 1st March 2023.

  • RBL Bank and Export-Import bank of India has made an agreement under the Trade Assistance program (TAP). It will support cross-border transactions.
  • MoU between NSDC and Switzerland: The national skill development corporation (NSDC) under the ministry of Skill development and entrepreneurship signed a Memorandum of understanding with Switzerland based Hotel and Tourism Management Institute. It will provide apprenticeship training in India.
  • Rajesh Malhotra: He is elected as the principal director general of Press Information Bureau. He replaced the former director, Satyendra Prakash.
  • World bank and government of India has signed two loans under Public Health Systems for Pandemic Preparedness Program (PHSPP) and Enhanced Health Service Delivery Program (EHSDP). Both the programmes are signed for USD 500 million each. By combined finance of a total of 1 billion. The World Bank will enhance the Pradhan Mantri - Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission.
    • The EHSDP program will provide assistance to 7 states namely- Andhra Pradesh, Kerela, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
    • Both the loans have a maturity of 18.5 years with an extra of 5 years.
  • ICICI STACK for Capital Markets and Custody: ICICI has launched a suite, ICICI STACK for Capital Markets and Custody for solutions to participants of Indian Capital market and other clients.
  • Services provided include
    • 3-in-1 facility for brokers
    • Digital payments
    • A self service portal
  • HDFC and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation limited (IRCTC) has signed a MoU to launch a credit card, ‘IRCTC HDFC Bank credit Card’. It will only be a single variant.
  • According to the data released by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the unemployment rate of India has increased to 7.45% in February 2023. The rate was at 7.14% in January 2023.
  • Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan: Department of Social justice and empowerment has Signed MOU with Prajapati Brahama Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya to spread awareness through this campaign among the youth.
