Current Context: The Digital India Act, 2023 is a new legislation that aims to overhaul the decades-old Information Technology Act, 2000. - The Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar held the first-ever consultation on the proposed Digital India Act on March 10th and discussed rules to handle data captured by invasive gadgets like spy glasses and wearable devices.
