Current Context: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched the 'Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana' in the presence of special guest Priyanka Gandhi at the 'Bharose Ka Sammelan' organized at Lal Bagh, Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar division, on 13 April 2023.

  • The State Government has initiated a scheme to provide funds to Gram Panchayats for the proper organization of tribal festivals, wherein each panchayat will receive a grant of Rs 10,000 per year in two instalments.
  • The Chief Minister launched the scheme by providing the first instalment of Rs. 5000-to-1840-gram panchayats in the Bastar division.
  • The 'Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana' aims to preserve tribal festivals, fairs and cultural traditions, such as Madai, Jatra festival, Sarna Puja, Devguri, Navakhai, Chherchera, Akti, Hareli, in their original form and pass them on to future generations.
