PM Dedicated Various Projects Worth Rs 4850 cr in Dadra and Nagar Haveli

Current Context: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched various development projects related to health, housing, tourism, education and urban development, worth more than Rs 4850 crore in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli on April 25, 2023. Some of the projects are:

• The inauguration of the new campus of NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, the first and only medical college in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
• The laying of the foundation stone of 96 development projects in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, such as government schools, Government Engineering College, fish market and shopping complex, beautification and widening of roads, and augmentation of water supply scheme.
• The handing over of the house keys to beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana Urban from Diu and Silvassa.
