The gross GST revenue collected in April 2023 was 1,87,035 crore which is 12% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year. Of the gross GST revenue collected, CGST is ₹38,440 crore, SGST is 47,412 crore, IGST is 89,158 crore (including ₹34,972 crore on import of goods) and cess is 12,025 crore (including 901 crore on import of goods)

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty made history by winning the gold medal in men’s doubles at the Badminton Asia Championships. They defeated Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi 16-21, 21-17, 21-19 in the final. They became the first Indians after Dinesh Khanna to be crowned champions at the Asia badminton Championships.
