Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs signs MoU with RITES

Current Context: This MoU was signed on May 2, 2023 for technical assistance for Solid Waste Management (SWM) and Used Water Management (UWM) under Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban 2.0.

• The MoU aims to enable states and urban local bodies to implement the mission initiatives efficiently and provide safe and sustainable sanitation access universally.
• RITES will provide technical support for standards, specifications, engineering design and procurement in the field of sewage, wastewater management and solid waste management.
