Current Context: Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, launched NANDI Portal on June 26, 2023. NANDI stands for NOC Approval for New Drug and Inoculation System.

• It is an online platform that aims to facilitate the process of granting No Objection Certificates (NOC) for veterinary drugs and vaccines in India.
• It was developed by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) through CDAC in coordination with Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) in pursuance of the spirit of Digital India vision.
