Prime Minister inaugurates Sai Hira Global Convention Centre

Current Context: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Sai Hira Global Convention Centre in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh on 4th July 2023. The convention centre is a new facility constructed by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and donated by philanthropist Shri Ryuko Hira.

• It is a testament to the vision of promoting cultural exchange, spirituality and global harmony.
• The centre will host conferences, seminars and cultural events, fostering dialogue and understanding among individuals from all walks of life.
• He also praised the theme of the event – ‘Practice and Inspire’ – and called it effective as well as relevant.
• He said that the life of Shri Sathya Sai Baba is a live example of this. He also urged the people to take a pledge to turn Sathya Sai District fully digital.
