Current Context: the e-resource web portal launched by Home Minister Amit Shah is a repository of the important documents, such as minutes and agenda of the various meetings of the Inter-State Council and its standing committee since its constitution on 28.05.1990 and zonal councils and their standing committee since their inception in 1957.

• The portal was inaugurated on August 28, 2023, at the 26th meeting of the Western Zonal Council at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
• The portal will facilitate the functioning of zonal councils and can be used by the Central ministries/ department as well as state governments/UTs for policy intervention.
