Current Context: Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, launched a web portal ‘Apna Chandrayaan’ on 17 October 2023.

  • The web portal is designed to provide interactive and engaging learning materials for school students on India's lunar mission Chandrayaan-3.
  • The web portal features an array of educational resources for students at various levels. The offerings include coloring books, online quizzes, jigsaw puzzles, picture-building activities and captivating graphic novels that narrate the journey of Chandrayaan 3.
  • The web portal was developed by NCERT under the aegis of the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, with the aim of enhancing learning and promoting space exploration among students.
