    • Priyanka Goswami created a new record in women’s 20 km race walk at the National Race Walking Championships in Ranchi, Jharkhand, at the National Games in Goa.
  • Awards & Honors:
    • Nita Ambani, the chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, was honoured with the 2023 USISPF Global Leadership Award for Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) on October 31, 2023.
    • Aitana Bonmati and Lionel Messi have been named the 2023 Ballon d’Or winners for their outstanding performances in women’s and men’s football respectively. They are both from Spain and Argentina, and they both play for the same club, Inter Miami, in the United States.
    • West Bengal Governor Dr C V Ananda Bose awarded the inaugural Durga Bharat Samman to four recipients for their outstanding contributions in different fields.
