- Justice M. Fathima Beevi, the first woman Judge of the Supreme Court, has indeed passed away at the of 96. Justice Fathima Beevi was elevated to a judge of the Supreme Court in 19894. She was also the first Muslim woman to be appointed to any of the higher judiciaries in the country.
- Nongthombam Maipak, the former Mr. India and a bodybuilding legend from Manipur passed away due to a pulmonary infection. He was 88 years old. He served as a Sports Officer at the rank of Sub-Inspector in Manipur Police from 1970 to 1973.
