SIDBI Signed MoU with TDB to Support MSMEs

Current Context: SIDBI signed an MoU with TDB to support MSMEs on November 16, 2023. The MoU aims to ease access of credit to MSMEs, which are attempting development and commercial application of indigenous technology or adapting imported technology for wider domestic applications.
SIDBI Signed MoU with TDB to Support MSMEs
  • The MoU was executed by Rahul Priyadarshi, Chief General Manager, SIDBI and Rajesh Jain, Director, TDB.
  • This MoU is an arrangement for a joint initiative by TDB and SIDBI, to extend financial assistance to eligible MSMEs as per the terms & conditions of TDB & SIDBI.
  • SIDBI is the country’s Principal Financial Institution engaged in the promotion, financing and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
  • TDB is a statutory body under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, which provides financial assistance to Indian industrial concerns and other agencies for the development and commercialization of indigenous technology or for the adaptation of imported technology for wider domestic applications.
