Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services & University of Delhi Established MoU

Current Context: Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services (SIES) and University of Delhi (DU) have established a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance academic alliances between the two institutions.

• The MoU was signed on November 15, 2023, during the visit of a delegation from SIES to DU.
• The MoU aims to promote cooperation in the fields of economics, management, tourism, and service, as well as to facilitate student and faculty exchange, joint research, and cultural activities.
• The MoU is expected to strengthen the ties between Uzbekistan and India, as well as to contribute to the development of education and science in both countries.
• SIES is one of the leading higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan that prepares specialists for the service sector.
