New Chairmen Appointed for BOI, IOB, and UCO Bank

Current Context: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has recently appointed new chairmen for Bank of India (BOI), Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), and UCO Bank:

• M R Kumar, former LIC Chairman, has been appointed as the part-time non-official Director and non-executive Chairman of Bank of India (BOI) for a term of three years.
• Srinivasan Sridhar has been appointed as the part-time non-official Director and non-executive Chairman on the Board of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) for a term of three years, subject to his resignation from the Board of Bank of Baroda.
• Aravamudan Krishna Kumar, former Managing Director (MD) of the State Bank of India (SBI), has been appointed to the Board of UCO Bank
