On 27 February, ISRO's technical facilities in Kerala inaugurated by PM Modi

Current Context: On 27th February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three major technical facilities of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Kerala.

• These facilities include:
• Trisonic Wind Tunnel at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
• This tunnel can generate speed ranging from subsonic to supersonic up to four times the speed of sound (Mach number 4.0).

• This is a world-class state-of-the-art facility handling large flow of propellants.
