CAG of India & Bulgarian National Audit Office signed MoU to Enhance Audit Expertise

Current Context: On 19th April 2024, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India and the Bulgarian National Audit Office (SAI Bulgaria) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Sofia, Bulgaria.

• This agreement aims to enhance international cooperation in the field of auditing by fostering collaboration and the exchange of expertise between the two Supreme Audit Institutions.
• The MoU will establish a platform for knowledge and experience sharing among auditing professionals and technical teams through collaboration in training programs and mutual assistance in conducting audits.
• The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Girish Chandra Murmu, the CAG of India, and Ms. Goritsa Grancharova – Kozhareva, Acting President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office.
