AIIMS New Delhi and University of Bolton Institute of Medicine have signed a MoU

Current Context: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AIIMS New Delhi and the University of Bolton Institute of Medicine was signed on 15th May 2024.

• Location: The MoU was signed through a virtual event. The principal office of AIIMS is located at Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029, India.
• Purpose: The purpose of the MoU is to collaborate in the field of medical research, innovation, and education.
• Joint Research Projects: The collaboration aims to explore possibilities of joint research projects.
• Educational Activities: The MoU will encompass various initiatives such as staff and student exchange, educational conferences, and collaborative degree programmes.
• Faculty Exchange Program: The faculties of these two organizations would explore facilities available with both institutions, especially in investigations, for research, and patient care services.
• Director’s Statement: The Director of AIIMS, Professor M. Srinivas, stated that this collaboration will help the institutes to address global challenges and share expertise with the world.
