Current Context: On 15th July 2024, The IT Saksham Yuva Scheme was approved by the Haryana Cabinet to provide employment opportunities for young individuals.

    • Objective: The scheme aims to give jobs to 5,000 youths in its first phase.
    • Eligibility: Graduate or postgraduate applicants from IT backgrounds.

    • Remuneration: Initially, they will receive ₹20,000 per month, which will increase to ₹25,000 after six months.
    • Unemployment Allowance: If not deployed, the state government will pay an unemployment allowance of ₹10,000 per month.
    • Skilling Agencies: Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON), Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited (HKCL), and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) will be involved.
  • This initiative aligns with the broader goal of providing employment to at least 60,000 young individuals from poor families.
