Current Context: The National Commission for Women (NCW) and the CyberPeace Foundation launched the fifth phase of the Digital Shakti Campaign on July 5, 2024.\

• This pan-India initiative aims to digitally empower and upskill women and girls in cyberspace.
• Here are some of the goals of Digital Shakti 5.0:

• Boost digital literacy among women
• Support women's entrepreneurship
• Bridge the digital skill gap for women
• The program has trained over 6 lakh women so far and aims to reach 10 lakh women in this phase.
