Current Context: On 6th August 2024, The Centre has recently implemented a significant reshuffle of senior bureaucrats. Amit Singh Negi, a 1999-batch IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
