MeitY Launches 2nd Cohort of SAMRIDH to Support Startups

Current Context: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched the second cohort of the Startup Accelerators of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) program.
  • This initiative, launched on September 4, 2024, by MeitY Secretary Shri S. Krishnan, is part of the Government of India’s 100-day agenda.
  • The second cohort aims to select and support 125 startups through established accelerators, to nurture a total of 300 startups.
  • The SAMRIDH program, which began in August 2021, provides funding support, mentorship, and services to help startups become market-ready, develop business plans, connect with investors, and expand internationally.
