Six initiatives/portals inaugurated by Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs

Current Context: On September 11, 2024, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju inaugurated six key initiatives/portals as part of the Ministry’s 100 Days Achievements.

• National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) 2.0: An upgraded version with a more user-friendly interface and enhanced integration with state legislative processes to promote a paperless legislative environment.
• NeVA Mobile App version 2.0: A mobile application complementing NeVA 2.0, providing real-time access to legislative documents and processes.
• NYPS Portal 2.0: An expanded portal now open to all citizens, aiming to increase participation in the National Youth Parliament Scheme.
• NYPS for Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs): A new scheme to engage tribal students in parliamentary procedures and democratic values.
• Subordinate Legislation Management System (SLMS): A portal providing a single-window interface for stakeholders involved in subordinate legislation, enhancing decision-making and performance.
• Consultative Committee Management System (CCMS): A system designed to streamline interactions among the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, administrative ministries, and Members of Parliament, ensuring real-time access to information and documents.
• These initiatives aim to enhance parliamentary efficiency, promote digital integration, and engage youth in democratic processes.
