India Leads Asian Productivity Organization at 67th Jakarta Meet

Current Context: India has formally assumed the Chairmanship of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) for the 2025–26 term during the 67th Governing Body Meeting (GBM) held from May 20–22, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Organized By: Asian Productivity Organization (APO), hosted by the Government of Indonesia.
Chaired By: Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary, DPIIT, and APO Director for India.
Constituents: 21 member economies, including India, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and others.
Aim: To advance APO Vision 2030, expand Green Productivity 2.0, and strengthen regional collaboration in digital transformation, sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
