Current Context: On June 2, 2025, the Andhra Pradesh government signed a five-year MoU with ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) in Amaravati to integrate space technology into the Real Time Governance System (RTGS).

  • Strategic Collaboration: Signed in the presence of CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, SHAR Director A. Rajarajan, and RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain.
  • Disaster Response Enhancement: ISRO will provide satellite-based monitoring for cyclones, floods, and environmental changes, improving disaster preparedness.
