Banking:
  • Scapia and Federal Bank launched India’s first dual-network credit card integrating RuPay, Visa, and UPI on June 12, 2025. The card supports UPI transactions via RuPay and global payments via Visa, offering a unified credit limit. Users benefit from zero forex markup, unlimited domestic lounge access, and travel rewards. The initiative aims to simplify digital payments and enhance financial accessibility.
  • On June 10, 2025, CreditAccess Grameen secured a $100 million multi-currency syndicated social loan facility. The loan, raised in Japanese Yen (JPY) and US Dollars (USD), was sourced from banks in South Asia and the Far East. It qualifies as an External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) under the automatic route of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
  • On June 11, 2025, National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Ltd) secured a $750 million External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) syndicated term loan. The loan includes a $500 million base issue and a $250 million greenshoe option, with a 10-year tenor. Bank of Baroda acted as the Mandated Lead Arranger and Underwriter, while Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) Bank managed the greenshoe portion.
  • On June 12, 2025, Reliance Industries sold a 3.64% stake in Asian Paints for ₹7,703 crore. The sale was conducted via Siddhant Commercials Pvt Ltd, an RIL affiliate.
