THE Impact Rankings 2025

Current Context: The Times Higher Education (THE) organization released the Impact Rankings 2025 on June 18, 2025.

These rankings assess universities worldwide based on their contributions to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year's rankings saw a significant increase in participation, with 2,526 universities from 130 countries or territories being evaluated.

Key Highlights from THE Impact Rankings 2025:

Western Sydney University (Australia) has secured the top position for the fourth consecutive year.
The University of Manchester (UK) and Kyungpook National University (KNU) (South Korea) followed in second and third place, respectively.

Four Indian universities made it into the top 100 globally:
