• These rankings assess universities worldwide based on their contributions to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• This year's rankings saw a significant increase in participation, with 2,526 universities from 130 countries or territories being evaluated.

Key Highlights from THE Impact Rankings 2025:

• Western Sydney University (Australia) has secured the top position for the fourth consecutive year.
• The University of Manchester (UK) and Kyungpook National University (KNU) (South Korea) followed in second and third place, respectively.

Four Indian universities made it into the top 100 globally:
