MoC&I Conferred National ODOP Awards 2024; AP Secured 10 Awards

Current Context: The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoC&I) honored standout contributions under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative on July 14, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Andhra Pradesh bagged 10 awards, including Gold in Category A (States/UTs). Key products:

• Bobbili Veena (Vizianagaram)
• Guntur Chilli (Guntur)

Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) won Gold in District–Agriculture for Alphonso mango (GI-tagged).

Pulwama (J&K) secured Silver in District–Agriculture for saffron; Ganderbal (J&K) won in Non-Agriculture for handicrafts.

High Commission of India, Singapore received Gold in Indian Missions Abroad category for global ODOP promotion.

New ODOP initiatives launched:

• Best Practices Compendium & 2025 Handbook
• Expansion of PM Ekta Malls & global ODOP Walls
• Revised guidelines to support first-time exporters and GI-tagged products
