Current Context: On 25 July 2025, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the first-ever ODISHA TEX 2025 in Bhubaneswar, marking Eastern India’s largest textile and apparel summit.

• Launch of 6 Textile & Apparel Parks and 2 Footwear Parks with plug-and-play infrastructure
• Employment subsidies raised under Odisha Technical Textile & Apparel Policy 2022 ₹6,000/month for male workers and ₹7,000/month for female workers
• Focus on textile clusters in Bolangir, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, and Cuttack
• Event to be held annually, blending handloom heritage with modern textile innovation
