Current Context: The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) was launched by PM Narendra Modi on 15 August 2025 during his Independence Day address.

• With an outlay of ₹99,446 crore, the scheme aims to generate 3.5 crore jobs over two years (1 Aug 2025 – 31 July 2027).
