Current Context: On 14 August 2025, the National Health Authority (NHA) and C-DAC signed an MoU in New Delhi to launch e-Sushrut@Clinic, a cloud-based HMIS platform.

  • It aims to digitize small and medium healthcare facilities under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
  • The system supports outpatient services, pharmacy, diagnostics, and telemedicine with minimal technical overhead.
  • It’s a lighter version of the e-Sushrut HMIS already used in AIIMS. 
  • Clinics can onboard via Health Facility and Professionals Registries.
  • It also includes a free Clinical Decision Support System for managing hypertension and diabetes.
