This standardization is intended to modernize financial infrastructure and enhance the currency's use on digital platforms.
  • On 19 November 2025, fintech firm Easebuzz received RBI approval for full-service Payment Aggregator (PA) operations. It can now manage online, offline, and cross-border payments for merchants across sectors. Easebuzz serves 2.5 lakh+ merchants, processing nearly 3 million transactions daily.

  • On 23 November 2025, India won the inaugural Blind Women’s T20 World Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka. India defeated Nepal by 7 wickets in the final, chasing 114 runs with ease. Phula Saren’s unbeaten 44 guided India to victory, capping an undefeated campaign. This triumph marked a historic first title and global milestone for blind women’s cricket.
  • On 23 November 2025, Lakshya Sen clinched the Australian Open Super 500 title in Sydney. He defeated Kodai Naraoka of Japan in the men’s singles final, 21-11, 21-19.
