National:
  • On 20 November 2025, LG Electronics signed a Wi-Fi Standard Essential Patent (SEP) licensing agreement with Amazon. The deal allows Amazon to legally use LG’s Wi-Fi technologies in its connected devices such as Echo speakers, Fire TV Sticks, and Fire Tablets. This partnership highlights LG’s global leadership in Wi-Fi standards while ensuring Amazon’s products remain compliant with international technical requirements.
  • On Nov 23–24, 2025, the J&K administration launched Phase‑2 of the Vibrant Villages Programme. It aims to upgrade 124 strategically located border villages across 43 blocks in 8 districts. Focus areas include road, telecom, electrification, and TV connectivity, along with tourism and financial inclusion. The initiative strengthens border security, national integration, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat goals.
Banking:
  • On 21 November 2025, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Hub71 partnered with the UAE–India CEPA Council in Mumbai. The collaboration aims to support Indian start-ups with banking solutions, mentorship, and Abu Dhabi market access.   • Oman announced its first communications satellite OmanSat‑1 on 23 Nov 2025 with Airbus Defence & Space. It will be managed by Space Communications Technologies (SCT) under the Oman Investment Authority. Built on Airbus’s OneSat platform, it will operate in the Ka‑band. The project aims at digital sovereignty, secure communications, and Oman Vision 2040 goals, with launch targeted by 2029.

  • India won its second consecutive Women’s Kabaddi World Cup on 24 Nov 2025 in Dhaka, defeating Chinese Taipei 35–28. India remained unbeaten, defeating Iran in the semi‑final. The tournament featured 11 nations, hosted outside India for the first time. The win reinforced India’s global dominance in women’s kabaddi.
  • The SRFI Indian Open 2025 squash tournament was held at Daly College, Indore from Nov 18–22, 2025. Organized by the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI), it was a PSA Challenger event with 48 players competing on a knock‑out basis. Indian prodigy Anahat Singh won the Women’s Singles Title, defeating veteran Joshna Chinappa in a five‑game final. This marked her 13th PSA title, strengthening India’s presence in global squash.

  • On November 24, 2025, the Indian Navy commissioned INS Mahe, its first indigenously built Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Constructed by Cochin Shipyard Limited, the vessel is 78 metres long, 1,100 tonnes in displacement, and incorporates nearly 80% indigenous content. Designed as a “Silent Hunter,” it enhances India’s ability to detect and neutralize submarines in shallow waters.

  • On November 19, 2025, World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day was observed globally. It is organized annually by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The 2025 theme was “Breathing Better Together”, focusing on collective action for lung health.

  • On 25 November 2025, Justice Vikram Nath was appointed as the Executive Chairman of NALSA, succeeding Justice B.R. Gavai.
