National:
  • On 2 November 2025, the foundation stone was laid for India’s first Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductor manufacturing plant at Infovalley, Jatni, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The project, led by SiCSem Pvt. Ltd., has been approved under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) with an investment of ₹2,067 crore, aiming to generate 5,000 jobs and strengthen India’s chip ecosystem.

  • On 3 November 2025, President Droupadi Murmu addressed the special Silver Jubilee session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Dehradun, marking 25 years of the state’s formation.   • Google launched Project Suncatcher on 5 Nov 2025 to create space-based AI infrastructure. Solar-powered satellites with TPUs will process AI workloads in orbit, using continuous sunlight for up to 8× more energy than Earth data centers. The project aims to cut electricity and water use, making AI computing more scalable and eco‑friendly.
  • On 4 November 2025, OpenAI launched “IndQA”, its first region-specific AI benchmark to evaluate and improve how AI systems reason across Indian languages and cultural contexts. It covers 12 languages and 10 cultural domains, developed with input from over 250 Indian experts.

  • Scapia, in partnership with Federal Bank, launched Family Add-on Credit Cards on 4 Nov 2025. Primary users can share credit limits with up to three family members (18+), each with separate cards and app access. Both primary and add-on holders can earn and redeem Scapia Coins individually. Alongside, Scapia introduced the Scapia Store, India’s first travel shopping platform with curated brands.

  • On 2 Nov 2025, Jannik Sinner won the Paris Masters men’s singles title in Paris. He defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime 6–4, 7–6 (4) in the final. With this victory, he regained the ATP World No. 1 ranking, overtaking Carlos Alcaraz. It was his maiden Paris Masters crown and fifth title of 2025.
