National CSR Conclave of NDDB Foundation for Nutrition 2026

Current Context: On 6 Jan 2026, Union Home Affairs & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the National CSR Conclave of NDDB Foundation for Nutrition at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

• Theme: Role of CSR in Nutrition Security & Malnutrition Mitigation under “Sahkar se Samriddhi”.
• Launches: Giftmilk Programme (Phase III) by SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (fortified milk for 4,000 schoolchildren in Chhattisgarh).
• Launches: Shishu Sanjeevani Programme by IDBI Bank (nutritional supplements for 3,000 Anganwadi children in Nagpur, Maharashtra).
• Attendees: Union Ministers Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Annapurna Devi, Piyush Goyal, NDDB Chairman Dr. 
• Meenesh Shah, secretaries & 1,200 stakeholders.
• Focus: Public–Private–Cooperative partnerships to eradicate child malnutrition and strengthen nutrition security.
• Technical sessions discussed malnutrition eradication through public interventions and corporate–cooperative collaborations.
