Union Minister Chirag Paswan Inaugurates ‘Indusfood 2026’ in Greater Noida, UP

Current Context: Union Minister Chirag Paswan inaugurated the 9th edition of Indusfood 2026 on 8 January 2026 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

• The event was organized by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
• It is Asia’s premier Food & Beverage sourcing and trade show, held from 8–10 January 2026.
• Key highlights included the launch of the BHARATI Startup Challenge by APEDA and signing of the India–UAE Food Corridor MoU.
• The expo also hosted the World Culinary Heritage Conference for the first time. 
• New pavilions showcased Pet Food, Animal Nutrition, Cookware & Kitchenware.
• Spread across 120,000 sq. metres, Indusfood 2026 marked one of the largest editions, focusing on technology-driven food processing and global trade.
