MeitY Launches IP Catalyst and Digital Platform to Transform Patents into Products

Current Context: The Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) launched the IP Catalyst initiative and its digital platform cipie.in during the National Conference on “From Patent to Product: Accelerating IP Commercialisation in Electronics & IT” at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

• The event took place on May 12–14, 2026, and was formally unveiled by Shri S. Krishnan, IAS, Secretary, MeitY.
