  • On 18 June 2026, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) pledged USD 371 million to Sify Infinit Spaces Ltd. The financing supports two AI‑ready hyperscale data centre campuses in Navi Mumbai & Chennai. Together, they will provide around 103 MW IT capacity, designed for AI workloads & cloud services.

  • Around 21 June 2026, three unique products of Madhya Pradesh received Geographical Indication (GI) tags. Khurasani Imli (Baobab fruit from Mandu, Dhar), Garadu tuber, and Balam Kakdi were granted recognition. These GI tags protect heritage & authenticity, while boosting tribal livelihoods & tourism. They also enhance global branding of MP’s indigenous agro‑products.
  • On 23 June 2026, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced that VOC Port Authority (Tamil Nadu) achieved a 45% cut in net carbon emissions over four years. The port now sources 94% of its energy from renewables, making it a model for green maritime growth. It released its first Sustainability Report, showcasing initiatives in clean energy & emission reduction.
  • On 19 June 2026, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched four NCRB apps to strengthen the Integrated Criminal Justice System (ICJS). These include NCRB‑Abhigyan (mobile fingerprint scanning linked to NAFIS) & CrPI (DNA, iris, face matching). Also launched were e‑Prosecution 2.0 and e‑Forensics 2.0, enhancing digital case management.
  • On 19 June 2026, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata, was conferred Navratna CPSE status by the Govt of India. It becomes India’s 29th Navratna PSU, gaining greater financial & operational autonomy. Recognition came from its strong FY 2025‑26 performance — turnover ~₹7,002 crore, profit ~₹748 crore.
  • On 23 June 2026, MeitY announced the IndiaAI Fellowship (2025‑26 cohort) at Chandigarh University, Punjab. 7 CU students (mainly B.Tech AI & ML / CSE) received this prestigious fellowship. It provides financial support, mentorship, and resources for innovative AI/ML projects tackling real‑world challenges.
  • On 22 June 2026, the Himachal Pradesh Government announced agreements for 19 hydropower projects worth ₹3,336 crore. These projects (capacity 278 MW) include Bharmour Stage‑I & II, Harsar stages, Tundah Stage‑II, etc.

  • On 22 June 2026, the NSE and Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) signed an MoU in Mumbai. It promotes non‑ferrous metal derivatives (Copper, Aluminium, Zinc, Lead, Nickel). The partnership strengthens risk management, hedging tools & new products. It aims to deepen India’s commodity derivatives market through industry outreach.
  • On 23 June 2026, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) signed an MoU with the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) in New Delhi. The aim is to establish India’s first permanent & independent research centre on transportation, mobility, and logistics economics at NCAER.
  • On 22 June 2026, Safran (France) and SatSure (India) signed an MoU under the France–India Year of Innovation. The collaboration aims to build advanced end‑to‑end Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) solutions for the Indian market. It will combine French expertise in aerospace & AI with Indian satellite technology and analytics.
  • On 22 June 2026, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India signed a bilateral MoU with the State Comptroller of Israel in New Delhi.
