CCRAS Launches Digital and Research Initiatives to Modernise Ayurveda

Current Context: On 3 July 2026, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) launched three major initiatives during its 5th Executive Committee Meeting. The initiatives aim to strengthen Ayurveda research, scientific writing, education and digital access.

• CCRAS PRAYATNA 2026–27: An Expression of Interest was launched to promote scientific writing and publication skills among postgraduate and Ph.D. Ayurveda scholars.
• Digital Ecosystem Dashboard: CCRAS launched an integrated digital dashboard containing its web-based resources, research outputs and institutional information.
• Purpose: To strengthen evidence-based Ayurveda research, improve academic capacity, promote scientific communication and expand digital access to research.
• Importance: The initiatives combine traditional Ayurveda knowledge with modern research methodology and digital technologies.
