Current Context: On 24 August 2026, Union Minister for Communications and DoNER Jyotiraditya M. Scindia launched the revamped Dak Sewa and Dak MITRA mobile applications as part of India Post’s digital modernisation programme.
- Dak Sewa App: Designed for the general public, it brings multiple postal services onto a single digital platform. The revamped app is available in 23 Indian languages and had already crossed 10 lakh downloads.

- The launch took place during a national programme at Rang Bhavan, New Delhi, where 14 renovated post offices across the country were also inaugurated.
