The 7th edition of 13-day long India-Bangladesh joint military exercise Sampriti 2017 has concluded in Mizoram.

  • The exercise was conducted at Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School, Vairengte in Mizoram
  • The aim of the exercise was to strengthen and broaden the aspects of interoperability and cooperation between the Indian and Bangladesh armies.
  • Major General Mohammed Moshfequr Rahman of the Bangladesh Army and Major General MS Ghura of the Indian Army reviewed the final exercise.
  • The exercise promoted understanding and interoperability between the two Armies
