Legal Services Day is celebrated every year in all states authorities of India on 9th of November
- Various legal literacy camps and functions are organized at many places in the capital city of the country.
- The day was started by the Supreme Court in the year 1995 to offer help and support to the weaker and poor group of sections of people
- The objective of celebrating the Legal Services Day is to offer the free of charge, proficient and legal services to the people of weaker sections of society.
- Lok Adalats are organised to make safe the legal system operations and encourages the righteousness of people on the equality basis.
World Quality Day: 9 November 2017
- World Quality Day is celebrated on second Thursday of November every year around the world.
- The day aims to increase worldwide awareness of the important contribution that quality makes towards both organisational and national growth and prosperity.
- According to the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), the responsibility of the quality professional can be defined through five main areas – governance, assurance, improvement, leadership and context.
- The theme of World Quality Day 2017 is ‘Everyday Leadership ’
International Day of Radiology
- The International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is celebrated on November 8 each year.
- It promotes the role of medical imaging in modern healthcare.
- The day coincides with the anniversary of the discovery of x-rays.
- It was first introduced in 2012, as a joint initiative, by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
- The International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists have celebrated 8 November as World Radiography Day since 2007, along with other national radiographers associations, such as the Society of Radiographers and the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria.
