Bombay Stock Exchange has appointed Sthurathnam Ravi, one of the eminent chartered accountants of India, as the Chairman of the Bombay Stock Exchange.
- He replaced Dhirendra Swarup as chairman of BSE with effect from 13 November 2017.
- Ravi possesses an extensive experience of holding a number of positions on the board of banks, financial institutions and asset management companies in the financial sector.
- He is also a member of the working group, constituted by Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises
- He is a member of Sebi's takeover panel also he is working as a member of the mutual funds advisory committee.
