Indian women cricket team is gaining popularity these days with their performace and Ekta Bisht has brought another laurel to the country.
She has become first Indian women cricketer to be named in International Cricket Council’s ODI and T20 teams of the year.

Ekta is a left-arm spinner who is recognised for her exceptional bowling skills. She made her debut into the women’s national cricket team in 2011, with an ODI debut against Australia on 2 July 2011.
In ICC World Cup 2017, she took five wickets in 18 runs during her 10-over spell against Pakistan
ICC's Women's Cricketer of the Year
Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry claimed the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year award leaving behind India's Harmanpreet Kaur and New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite. The award, named in honour of the pioneering Rachael Heyhoe-Flint was established following her death in January 2017.
