Jitu Rai Shoots 50m Pistol Gold With Record Score

Indian shooter Jitu Rai who has brought many laurels to India has given New Year gift to the country by winning gold in men's 50m pistol event in  61st National Shooting Championship

He shot 10.8 on his 24th shot to grab the gold with a new national record score of 233.

Other Winners

Navy's Omkar Singh (222.0) won silver while Army mate Jai Singh (198.4) grabbed bronze.

Punjab's Arjun Singh Cheema shot 226.5 in the final to win gold, on the other hand, Surinder Singh shot 221.9 for silver while Haryana's Anmol Jain won bronze with 205.1.
